[ad_pod ]Leicester City had a tall task of visiting Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this last weekend and the Foxes produced a good second half in order to claim a point from a difficult encounter. It was Wilfred Ndidi’s strike that levelled things up in London and ensured the game would end 1-1 with both teams sharing the spoils. And even though Brendan Rodgers was disappointed with some aspects of their game, there were still positives to be extracted from an overall tough fixture on the second week of the new 2019/20 Premier League season.
However, not all seemed to be happy with the performance of the team and one of those people was Jeremy Clarkson, formerly the star of the popular TV show Top Gear.
Clarkson fired a shot at James Maddison on Twitter, essentially telling him he’s not good enough and it didn’t take long for the player to respond himself.
Maddison basically just told Clarkson he should stick to cars because he clearly doesn’t know much about football.
The ex-Top Gear’s star’s comments were also pretty weird since Maddison registered the assist for the goal that ended up giving Leicester City their point on the night.
